Jannah Rizk is an art director, illustrator, and animator based between Cairo and Paris. She also sits as the creative director of Kalam Aflam, a Paris-based organization dedicated to promoting emerging Arab filmmakers and artists in France and beyond.
Through her work, she uses wit, humor, and kitsch to explore the mundanity of everyday life and the intracacies of coming of age and womanhood. Storytelling is at the heart of her practice, and often infuses her work with intimate shades of personal memory and cultural commentary.
